The fate of life on the planet will be determined in the midst of a dance between Dánae, a mystical being responsible for maintaining balance in the world, and a ruthless mass that wants to devour everything.
SYNOPSIS.
In a dance for the survival of the planet, Danae, a 14-million-year-old being, will use all her wit by controlling the elements of nature and taking the form of any animal, in order to take advantage of her abilities to fulfill her purpose: maintain the balance of life in the world.
However, a new being appears, a mass, which initially seems defenseless, but begins to grow excessively, destroying everything in its path, forcing Dánae to plunge into a ruthless fight to save her life and that of everything she inhabits in the world. What the mass does not understand is that its life is linked to all the others.

SYNOPSIS.
Without dialogues, the movement becomes an universal language. Through contemporary dance the destiny of life on the planet will be defined.The sound design bring us closer to the sounds of our world and the human voice is as a key instrument in the musical composition.
It is carried out mainly with the stop motion technique given its material quality, through which tactile memory banks in our brains can be activated. When we see materials on the screen that we have had contact with in the real world, it achieves a multisensory connection.

Saudade is a project that won the Colombian Film Development Fund (FDC) in 2022. It is produced by Laura Moncada in co-production with FIERO Studio, Caballo Loco Studio, WFF Wroclaw Feature Film Studio and Luis Salas. These partners are renowned studios and artists with extensive experience in producing both authorial and commercial animated content across multiple formats and platforms.
